San Marcos family, near Cal State San Marcos, seeks an occasional babysitter for their 1 year old when their primary nanny is unavailable. Backup care is needed weekdays from 8am-5pm. The family is open to candidates who may only be available for half days; i.e. 8am-12pm, 12pm-5pm, etc. The family can typically provide at least a week’s notice prior to when backup care is needed, however, there will be times when care is needed for the next day.
No guaranteed hours for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Bottle + solid feeding
* Diaper changing
* Engaging with the child in developmentally appropriate activities
* Stroller walks to the nearby park
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
* Valid CPR certification or willing to update
* Authorized to work in the U.S.
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Able to provide 2 childcare related references from a paid and professional setting
* Willing and able to pass a background + social media screening

Position pays $28 per hour and the family needs occasional backup care on an as needed basis.
