Occasional sitter for 15 month old child - Oct 26 in particular

We have a 15 month old child who loves to play, eat, run around, read books, and pet our indoor cat.
We are looking for an occasional sitter to come to the house while we go to local events. Highest priority at the moment is finding a babysitter for the afternoon and evening of October 26th to go to a wedding.
