We are a family of four and have two sweet girls. Our oldest is 5 and will start kindergarten in August. Our youngest is 19 months and will also start daycare in august. Both my husband and i work from home so we can assist a little bit if needed, but looking for someone who can provide us with last-minute sick kids care if they need to stay home from school. We live in Carmel Valley.
We are looking for a long-term, last minute babysitter that would help us when 1 (or both) of our girls have to stay home sick from daycare/school or when school is closed (our youngest's daycare has 53 days off a calendar year). We will always test for covid and we will not ask you to come over if our kid(s) have a fever, but otherwise we are looking for someone who is comfortable providing care if our kids are sick. You are more than welcome to wear a mask.
Ideally, you can start with us at least a bit before august so we get to know you. We are looking for someone who is down to earth, imaginative and creative in their play and has patience for a a sick tot or two.

Our rate offer is as follows:
- last minute sick child care $30/hr
- In advance ask to care due to daycare closure $25/hr
