Our little man is a smart one and he is active. He wants to be read to and needs care while mom works from home. If there is any emergency, mom is there! Little man is pretty good with self-play, but he's still a toddler, so his attention runs thin quickly before it's the next thing.
Our ideal sitter is one that has a flexible schedule since grandma watches him two days a week, so we only need a sitter three days weekly. Sitter is responsible for keeping little man occupied, fed, and played with at home until his first nap of the day (ranging from 11:30-12:00). Play gets messy, so there will be supplies to clean up and it is asked that his toys are picked up. After he is down for his nap and his toys are put away, you are free!
We are tucked in a neighborhood with a nice sized backyard with plenty to do in the house. Schedule needs to have flexibility from Mon-Fri on a weekly basis, but if there are certain days that need to be locked in, then we can negotiate and discuss.
