Solo dad (used surrogate) seeking some help with 2.5 year old son.

I am a solo dad (used a surrogate there is no mom). I have one son 2.5 yrs old. He responds well to having a routine and directions. He is very well behaved, calm, happy and considerate.
Maybe sometimes pick up my son from daycare while I’m still at work and start the bedtime routine. I will be at home to help on most occasions, but sometimes not.
