We have a 2 year old starting preschool. He likes to play with cars, play-dough, puzzles, read books, etc when it comes to eating, he can be a bit picky and need a little persistence or help with his food. He is a good communicator and likes to use his imagination.
We have a 7 month old who is very sweet and happy, starting solids.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with infants and toddlers and can provide references.
You will watch them in our home while we work (we have 2 cats who will stay out of your way), feed them, play with them, read to them, no screens, do sensory activities and generally be very engaging, but also calming and able to put them to sleep upstairs.
While they are sleeping, we hope you will help to wash the kids dishes (bottles), put away their toys, and/or fold and sort the kids' laundry.
If it is a fit, we would like to hire your care every other Saturday. Ideally, you live in Oakland or nearby.
