Family in the Campus Hills neighborhood is seeking a long-term occasional babysitter for their two children, ages 1 year & 4 years old, to start ASAP. The 1 year old enjoys playing with toys, going on walks, and playing with their older sibling. The 4 year old enjoys park visits and playing with toy cars. Backup care is needed intermittently 2-4 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 11am-4pm (4 hours within this time frame), or on Fridays or Saturdays from 5pm-10pm for date nights.
Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed weekly hours for this position. Mom works from home, and the family can provide a 2-3 day notice prior to when backup care is needed. There is a 40lb friendly corgi in the home; no pet care is needed. A great candidate will be flexible, engaging, and reliable.
Responsibilities include: Diaper changing, engaging with the children in activities, park visits, walks, etc. + occasionally walking the 4 year old to preschool. Rate is $25-$30 per hour.
