Family on the border of Redwood City is seeking an occasional babysitter/mother’s helper for their 2.5 year old to start ASAP. Backup care is needed 1-3 times per month for 2-4 hours as needed on any day Monday-Thursday from 3pm-9pm & weekends from 6am-12pm. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family’s requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. Family can provide at least a week’s notice prior to when backup care is needed.
The child enjoys reading & playing. They may take time to warm up to new people & prefer a candidate who is soft spoken. Mom WFH & is looking for a provider to assist with light tasks revolving around the child.

Responsibilities:
* Cooking for child + meal preparation help; light/simple meals
* Engaging with child in developmental activities
* Light housekeeping related to child
* Outside time/walks around the neighborhood
* Putting away child’s laundry
Requirements:

* Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience with children ages 2-5 years old
* Must be UTD on CPR certification
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must have a High School diploma or equivalent

Position pays $35-$38 per hour for intermittent/backup care - No guaranteed weekly hours.
