Family in South Carlsbad is seeking a long-term occasional babysitter/occasional nanny for their 10-year old to start ASAP. Backup care is needed intermittently during school breaks & can fall on any weekday from 11am-5pm. Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. Family can typically provide a week’s notice for backup care needs.
Responsibilities:

* Driving child; Occasional assistance with picking up the child from school or summer camp
* Engage and spend time with the child through various activities
* Neighborhood walks/playing in the local parks
* Planning activities for the child to engage in
* Prepare/provide lunch + snacks for child
Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare/preschool setting
* Authorized to work in the United States
* Valid driver’s license + clean driving record

* Reliable vehicle to transport child
* Must be able to swim

* UTD on CPR certification or willing to become certified
* High School diploma or equivalent

Position pays $25-$30 per hour for occasional backup care - No guaranteed weekly hours
