This job is for my best friend and roommate (Harry) and his 2 month old son (Theo, or Theodore) . The child's mother lives separately and has the child most of time. She will be returning to work soon and little Theo will need to be watched when Harry is working at the same time. These sessions will be pretty short: 1-3 hours, 4 max.
Little Theo is pretty easy. He just needs attention and his bottle with pre-pumped milk from his mother. He will need his diaper changed and occasional baths. Also, he may need to be driven to his Mother's house in Colfax from Auburn (car seat provided).
We keep our house clean, both for Theo and for our own sanity. The ideal sitter won't mind cleaning up a little, but any cleaning will be minimal as the house is already clean.
Harry's schedule is pretty flexible, but erratic because he/we are self employed construction workers. He/we live in Auburn (Auburn Greens). The sitter we are looking for can be here on call relatively quickly, mostly evenings but some nights as late as 11 p.m.
One last thing: The ideal sitter must be clean themselves. Theo's parents require anyone who wants to touch him wash their hands first. We don't want him exposed to any sickness or bacteria since he is a brand new baby boy.
