Hi! We’re the Reyes family. Small and new to Bryant. I am mom, Ashley- and work for a non-profit, part remotely and part requiring travel. Indra is 5, Souren 10. Souren loves video games, science, and reading. He loves building and sometimes has engineering activities he likes to do through kiwico. Indra loves playing with dolls, helping, and actively dancing or playing with her pup. Lots of change happening for our family in the last couple of years, but we’re glad to be here!
Typically, the children will attend school and soon attend the after school program from 8:00am-5:00 p.m. They will need to be picked up from the boys and girls club and potentially need transportation to extracurricular activity (not until Spring). If not a day of extracurricular, kids will go home and have a snack, work on school homework while awaiting dinner. Bedtime routines they have pretty well down, if needed as well.
I won’t know the consistency of job where I’ll require evening assistance until I begin to receive more cases, and I’d like to say the hours would be from 5pm-9pm, but there’s a small chance for overnights (rarely) I should have a good idea of a schedule when that would be required but until then, this would be an occasional position, with potentially just allowing you to be introduced to the children-2-3x per month?
