I then started working at a day care facility, before and after-school programs, and preschool classes. I have also been a nanny for two families, both with infants. Each lasted about a year. I have great experience with multiples, as I have twin sisters who are much younger than me. I also have experience with special needs children. I have always loved working with children. Upon moving to Wyoming five years ago I opened an in home daycare, which I have absolutely loved. I have now go back to being a nanny due to not finding proper help in my daycare. I have a 16 month old that would be coming with me to my Read more job. My philosophy is that we need to teach our children as much as possible, because one day, they will be the ones caring for us. I am currently earning my CA in infants and toddlers. I love to cook and go shopping for groceries, I prefer to cook on the healthy side and use less prepackaged foods. I can make homemade baby foods and squeezy pouches for toddlers. I don't mind cleaning after myself and the children, even doing the children's laundry is okay. I however ask that I am not given a huge list of things to be done because my first priority is the children and attending to their learning and skill development.
