Hi! My name is Billie Jo, I am currently a student at WV northern pursuing my nursing career. From a young age I've always had a passion for child care and have worked multiple jobs in this field. In Highschool I was enrolled in a program that allowed me to utilize two of my class periods towards working as a preschool aid. I also during this time was employed by two families in which I babysat for them weekly. One was a family of a two year old, 4 year old, and 9 year old. The other was just a 10 month old baby. Since then I have worked in a preschool, and a daycare throughout my schooling careers. I am the oldest of two younger sisters which I believe has given me a nurturing and maternal approach to childcare. After working in the cosmetology field for 3 years I Read more have decided to embark my journey with nursing! I do feel that both of these fields can benefit my skills within childcare, in addition to my love for children.
