I have both an early childhood education degree with emphasis in technology and special needs. I also have a Bachelor degree in Elementary education prek-6th grade. I absolutely love working with children and began my educational experiences working in a child care center as a lead infant teacher but worked with students up to 12 during summer. I worked in the Watertown school district primarily working with kindergarten to 5th graders that had high special needs. I was a tutor for students who scored low in standardized testing although it was after school hours and I did this free. I often watch my friends 3 children who had issues with boundary issues and had difficulty doing simple tasks to male them independent. I worked with all of them ranging from 5 to 13 and within a summer I was able to change this. I've made lesson plans for each stage a students ability was at still learning the lesson plans but in a format that allowed them to understand. I.love art projects which I still do. I volunteered for the Oshkosh head start as the president of the parent committee, I was the secretary for the organization, and was nominated as the representative for the headstart medical board. I worked part time for the YMCA with 1 year to 5 year old students which I loved because of the diversity. I do have a teaching resume that will not fit here. I had graduated cum laude and had been awarded high excellence in education as well as part of Sigma delta Pi for achieving a 3.5 or higher GPA for 7 or more consecutive semesters. I completed my bachelor degree which is a 5 year program in about a year and a half. My extensive experience and love for education and children as well as my extreme patience and understanding of children and parents (I also worked closely with families) makes me an extremely skilled candidate.
