I’m a college student taking classes online, pursuing a degree in elementary education. When I was in Highschool I helped tutor a few kindergarteners and also helped out in a second grade classroom. The students were the highlight of my day, and I’d leave with a smile on my face practically every day. I’ve volunteered at church to help out with a kids group and also spent time in the nursery. Right now I am currently working part time as a behavioral technician for a 3 year old diagnosed with autism. My goal in life is to provide children with a safe space, to encourage them, and to share in their enthusiasm for everyday life. I love to listen and to learn. I believe patience should always be practiced and communication is key.
