I am a graduate student at UW-Stout pursuing my M. S. in Mental Health Counseling. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology and Health, Wellness, and Fitness. I am a very energetic person who is passionate about working with children, sports (especially gymnastics and dance), and being active outdoors. I love crafts, being silly, and learning through play (I have experience with play therapy as well). I just completed my 11th summer working as the Canteen Director at Flipfest Camp, which is a Summer Gymnastics and America Ninja Warrior Camp that is owner and operated by two Olympians who’s mission is to help build life skills primary to athletic skills through intentional curriculum, interpersonal relationships, and play! In addition to babysitting and nannying, I have 18 years of experience working with children through being a youth director, managing a summer camp, coaching, babysitting, interning as a therapist in residential therapeutic facility Read more for children & adolescents, and volunteering at my church nursery. I have worked with infants all the way to 19-year-olds. I have Red cross first aid and CPR & AED certifications. I am SafeSport and Mental Health First Aid certified and have had to pass extensive background checks multiple times per year as required by USA Gymnastics, my employer, my educational institution, and to be cleared to hold an intern position for the Dept of Human Services. I do not take the responsibility of caring for and influencing children lightly. I am eager to being as involved with the family as they allow me to be, as I view this as so much more than a job.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
