My name is Mads, I am 23 years old, and have endless amounts of passion when it comes to creating trustworthy, fun loving relationships with kiddos & their families! I have over 8 years of experience working with children ages 8 weeks - to 10 years! However I'd have to say my favorite age group thus far has been 0-4. I primarily use Montessori education practices, gentle parenting, and lead with curiosity and empathy. I have just finished working with a family after a wonderful year spent together, as they moved out of state! Looking for something in Madison area!

Mads has been a loving part of our family since Feb 2022, starting when our baby was about 6 months and will be with us until our little one goes into preschool (Aug). There are so many wonderful characteristics about Mads that they bring to both the kids and to our home generally. Mads established a structured day with our baby, with organized chunks of time for play, snacks, clean up, nap, outside time, etc etc. They did a fantastic job rolling with the transitions as the baby grew (from 2 naps to 1, moving fully into solid foods, and soon to be potty training), and accommodating other curve balls our family might have experienced. Through it all, Mads made sure that our baby was loved, cared for, well rested, appropriately stimulated and challenged, and safe and happy. There is no shortage of laughing with Mads - more than anything I will miss hearing the two of them laughing all day through the house. Mads takes their profession very seriously, and works best with established schedules and is thorough in communication. Very happy to take on some laundry or mild housekeeping (pivotal in cycling through toys or clothes we've grown out of, taking care of our home when we are out of town, putting away laundry or tackling a messy kitchen during nap time), and is cool with shifting hours a bit here or there to accommodate family needs. One time Mads rearranged a full day of appointments to make a day of travel for the parents / handoff to grandparents work seamlessly, which was very appreciated. During raining or snowy days, Mads would turn the grocery store or Menards into a their playground and have a blast - burning energy and getting our little one out in the world. Mads does a fantastic job of leading with love (to both the kids and parents) and exemplifies compassion and empathy in the way you want your kids to experience. I feel there is no one better to have had my son spending his days with for the last 16 month. I am happy to provide any further reviews or details, just reach out.

Madelyn is new to our family but she has jumped right in and done so well. She is prompt, communicative, very kind, well spoken, and does a an awesome job with meal prep and interacting with our kids. She has them a few times a week during those sometimes tough after school time when kids can be hangry :) and she does so well with them! We feel very blessed to have made this connection for our next chapter in child care.
