Hello I’m Teya! I have worked in childcare since 2017. I am 24 years old and a senior in college. I am majoring in Community Engagement and Education and I plan on working with youth in community organizations post graduation. I have Baby & Child First Aid and CPR/AED certifications as wells as a Sleep Baby Safe certification. I am registered on the Wisconsin Childcare Registry with a level 11 standing. I have worked for 4 different child development centers, 2 of which I was a Site Coordinator. I have previous education in Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology and Recreation Management and have worked in programs serving children with disabilities, mental health issues and behavioral problems. Along with this knowledge, my current degree continues to teach me everyday about meaningful and purposeful growth for children and the community. Credentials aside, I am a child at heart and love the outdoors. I’m full Read more of creativity and enjoy facilitating activities, crafts and purposeful recreation fun for everyone. Lastly, I believe children can teach me just as much as I can teach them!
