I am a certified Child Care Professional with 17+ years of progressive experience caring for infant and children in-home, Daycares, Schools, and Youth/Community Center settings. I possess a proven track record for delivering professional care And engaging children in a wide variety of stimulating activities. I have applied knowledge in Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Religious, Montessori, High/Scope, & Community Philosophies. I also am CPR/AED, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Certified, with the certification to teach CPR/AED, SBS & SIDS. I began baby sitting in my family at the early age of 11yrs old. I was introduced to the profession of Child Care in late November of 2008. It was then that I started attending classes through Madison College & The Early Education Station to study Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Development to obtain my credentials & Teaching Certification. My philosophy is, It is very important to know the child(ren), their guardians, any other care givers that works with the child and their family because It does take a village to raise a child. And In order to bring a child to their Highest Self we will have to work as a team!
