Hello! My name is Amy. I am a mom and college student looking for an income stream that can work around my current schedule. I have 2 kids of my own. My son is 17 and my daughter is 12. I have spent the last 17 years focusing on my children as a stay-at-home mom, taking them to story-time at the library, playdates, farmers markets, children's museums, parks, and anything else we could think of. I am experienced at shuttling kids to and from activities as my kids have been in many! When my kids were in school I spent my time volunteering with their sports leagues and in their school. I also led my daughters Girl Scout troop for 6 years. Before having kids I worked in daycare and as a nanny and I spent many hours in my teens babysitting children of all ages. Last year I had Read more the privilege of working a nature based preschool. Unfortunately I could not continue working there because of my college schedule this year (where I am currently studying music and ASL). I love working with kids because they always help me see the beauty in the world. I believe in gentle parenting and finding learning opportunities in everyday life. I have a passion for music, arts and crafts and I love cats, jigsaw puzzles, and Taylor Swift. I am a non-smoker who loves pets, has a clean driving record (and I drive a mini-van). My CPR/first aid card has expired but I will be looking into renewing that ASAP. My availability is limited to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the most part, and I will need to bring my daughter with me on weekends that she is not at her dad's house (every other weekend). I am available during school breaks if needed.
