I have been working with children professionally for 6 years. I worked at the Humboldt State Children's Center from 2013-2017 and am currently working at an at-home, licensed daycare called Acorns to Oaks. I've worked with infants through 5 year-olds changing diapers, napping, facilitating outdoor activities, setting up learning activities, cooking and feeding. Apart from working at licensed child care centers, I also have experience babysitting for family and friends. I've babysat babies as young as 5 months and children as old as 11 years old. Babysitting usually involved fun outdoor activities, hiking, gardening, arts & crafts, making lunch/dinner, feeding, science activities, getting dressed, bathing, reading books and getting kids to sleep at bedtime. I am comfortable with light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, homework help and meal prepping if need be. I do not smoke, I am comfortable with all kinds of pets, and I can pick up/drop off when Read more needed. I am infant/child CRP and first aid certified.
