I think what I love about being a babysitter would be the joy of making kids laugh, being a positive role model, and creating a safe, fun environment for them. Every day feels different—whether it’s playing games, reading stories, or just bonding over little moments. Plus, kids often have such fresh perspectives and endless energy, so it’s a good way to stay young at heart. I have experience working as a summer camp counselor for 2 years with children ranging from 5 to 13 years old. I’m currently working at a psychiatric hospital as a counselor with children from 5 to 17 years old. My skills and training range from being able to de-escalation high intensity situations to creating fun and interactive games/activities for the appropriate age group.
