I've been babysitting, nannying, and teaching infants and children ages 0-6 years since I was a teenager. Right now, I'm an infant teacher at a private preschool and I've been at my current job for about a year. I care for a classroom of four 0-6 month-olds at a time on my own each day, feeding them bottles and solid or puréed food, putting them down for naps, changing their diapers, and giving them the same love and care their parents would give them. I also implement curriculum for the babies, teaching them motor and social skills and encouraging healthy and steady development. I use my own personal logging system to keep track of diaper changes, naps, and feedings so parents can see exactly how their child has been doing while they’ve been in my care. I love children, especially babies, and my ideal position would be as a regular Read more daily caregiver for a single baby under 6 months old.
