Unfortunately unreliable communication. We had a set schedule and agreed on her preference of payment. Two days prior to her starting in the evening she had stopped communication. I tried to reach out a couple more times to make sure she was okay, and even asked and provided that safe space letting her know if it turns out she can't or doesn't want to then thats fine, I just need to know I need that communicated to me, so therefore others and my work schedule isn't affected. She still wouldn't reply which it has caused a problem for me and my job. I don't blame her, however it is unfortunate that she lacked communication. Honesty is always best and it helps us parents be more prepared when we need help not for just a night out however when it comes to having a job or career. She seems so sweet and kind. I hope she reflects on this just as I am going forward in having back up care for situations like this.
