Hello! My name is Natalie and I am so excited to spend my second summer in the Seattle/Tacoma area. I began my career as an elementary school counselor in September 2019 after earning my Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Gonzaga University. I am currently seeking a summer babysitting/nanny position to begin June 22 with the understanding that I will need to return to my full-time job at the end of August (specific date to be determined). I grew up in Alaska and have worked with young children and their families for nearly 12 years. I began as a regular babysitter, transitioned to nannying towards the end of high school, eventually became a preschool teacher, and currently work in a K-5 school setting providing social/emotional education and support. I have taken child CPR, First Aid, and BBP (bloodborne pathogens) courses over the years. I also have experience in the areas of trauma-informed care, verbal de-escalation, and positive behavior supports. I am reliable, nurturing, caring, and truly enjoy working with young children. Ideally, I would love to engage with your child through experiences and take them to various parks, zoos, museums, libraries, etc. Other activities I enjoy doing alongside children include reading, baking, and arts and crafts projects.
