I have over 10 years experience working with children from infancy up to 13 years old in various capacities. I first got experience babysitting starting in my early teens. In high school I spent 2 years volunteering at the Everett Children Musume helping with family events and un the creative room. After that I spent about 3 years doing in-home caregiving for young adults and children with developmental disabilities while working on my BA degree. After that I worked over 3 years in preschool settings with 3 years experience at Bellevue School District as a lead teacher for up to 20 students. Throughout the last 7 years I have cared for many children as a nanny in various types of families. The longest I've work for a family is 5 years. I have babysat this family's daughter since she was 8, she looks up to me as an older friend Read more and mentor now. A I love to do outings to educational and nature adventures, arts and crafts, singing songs, playing outside, story time and creative child led play. The children I care for feel safe and loved, safety is my top priority and fun education is second. I am very interactive; I love to participate in the imagination process and activities while letting the children lead, acting as a guide to deepen their play into learning experiences. I will be finishing up my bachelors in Early Childhood Development and Families Studies in the spring. Looking to find families to work with till around April when my availability will change.
