Thanks for taking the time to read about me! My name is Katie and I am a CPR certified 35 year old. I have been caring for children for around 20 years in one capacity or another from babysitting to being a summer camp counselor with the YMCA in 2011/2012. I myself am a mother to an amazing 4 year-old girl and I have a LOT of experience with babies and children. I have wonderful references as well. About me: I absolutely love kids and helping them learn and explore their world in a fun and safe and loving manner. I believe in compassionate and consistent boundaries help a child grow into a secure and trusting person. I enjoy reading with all the kids I work with, arts and crafts, cooking projects and doing some organized learning projects. In nice weather I love getting outdoors to the park, light hiking, Read more and swimming. Also wanted to say I am proficient in the kitchen and cook most types of food and am happy to cook meals for your kiddo with whatever food guidelines your family follows. I do light cleaning during my work day as well and try to clean up the house while I work. I have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and a safe car with insurance. Sittercity says I live in Auburn but we reside in Snohomish proper.
