Hi families! My nanny family of the last year and a half is due with baby #2 at the end of September so I am hoping to connect with a family in need of part-time care, around 20-25 hours but flexible either way on that. I am open to a long term or short term position as we have been invited back to our current family in February if a short term job ends up working out best. 😊 A little about me: I have a degree in early childhood education and taught preschool and pre-k at Kids at the Creek, and worked with infants-junior high at Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek for six years. I love all things art, science, reading, sensory, outdoor exploration, music and more. I believe strongly in play based learning and following the ideas of little ones. I believe in productive messes (within Read more reason and properly prepped for, of course😌) and I follow a gentle and respectful parenting style in my personal life and in my work. After having my daughter and being a SAHM for a few months I decided we needed some Covid-safe interaction with the outside world and I thought nannying would be the perfect way to limit exposure while easing back into civilization to get the socialization we both needed. It really has worked out so wonderfully for us and the two families we have had the pleasure of growing with these past two years. Watching the current child I’ve nannied and my daughter move from babyhood into toddler hood together and grow to be best friends has been so special and it will be really hard to lose that connection the girls have had for most of their short little lives.
