Hello! My name is Danielle and I am looking for occasional babysitting jobs in the evening! I have worked in education including Special Education, Behavioral and as an Assistant Academic Coach for a Federal Grant. In the past, I also did multiple babysitting jobs with up to 4 kids per job. I love being able to teach children. Being able to work with a range of students all with specific needs has allowed me to be resourceful and finding unique ways to incorporate learning into the everyday lives of children. I am a very craft-oriented person. I love scrapbooking, yarn crafts, play dough, painting, and coloring. I enjoy being able to find new crafts and sharing them with youth. I enjoy cooking. I am gluten intolerant (can't ingest) which has given me opportunities to learn to cook from scratch. I enjoy seasonal baking and include kiddos when it is appropriate. Read more I enjoy reading. I love helping kids make their books come to life as I tell stories. I love the outdoors! I enjoy walking and spending time in the fresh air. I am a very positive person and encourage positive thinking, mental health, and emotional well-being with children. This was a big part at my last job. I mentored students in emotional and personal growth through creating and implementing curriculum. I have training in live Virtual Classes. My previous job allowed me to teach through virtual learning and familiarized me with zoom. I also attended a conference that introduced me to more kid-friendly resources and how to help them on zoom. If your children are attending virtual learning, I would be more than happy to aide them. Lastly I love animals. I have had experience with dogs, cats, horses, lizards, snakes, and I love them all. Overall I love helping mentor and teach youth of all ages! My favorite part of my job is watching kids get so happy over doing crafts or even having a book read to them. It's in those moments that let's me know that I (even in the smallest way) have made a positive impact in their life. I am more than happy to meet with you to see if I would be a good fit for you and your family! I hope you have an amazing day.
