Hello, I’m Kad! I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for working with children. I proudly hold degrees in Secondary & Special Education from Arizona State University and Washington State University. Since October, I've been living in Tacoma, after five years in Queen Anne! I am a full-time middle school teacher in Auburn. My journey with childcare began in junior high when I started babysitting. Throughout college, I expanded my skills by nannying and working in various childcare settings, including daycare centers, fitness centers, and summer camps. Professionally, I’ve taught and supported children as a certified K-12 English Language teacher. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, with significant experience working with special needs students, children who are hard of hearing, students with social and behavioral disorders, and those learning English as a second language. In my spare time, I enjoy expressing my creativity through crafting, Read more and sewing. You'll often find me playing my ukulele, reading, working out, or indulging in a bowl of lucky charms. I’m passionate about helping children develop good character, manners, and friendships. I look forward to bringing my energy and experience to your family!
