I was au pair for 2 years, one in Wisconsin where I was taking care of two boys (3yo and 4yo), the oldest kid had ADHD and I learnt how to handle it; the second year was here in Seattle, I took care of two girls (4yo and 7yo), the oldest had ADHD and autism, but since I worked before in Mexico with special need kids I didn’t have any problem with it. Right now in my current job, I’ve been taking care of baby since he was 3 months and a half until now that he’s 13 months. I’m just looking for extra income covering date nights or ocasional babysitting on weekends and I happy to provide references from my last jobs and other families where I go ocasional to take care of their kids.
