I come from a place of empathy having been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (high functioning). I began helping my classmates in highschool in special education. I would always be selected because of my willingness to help others. My most notable accomplishment was being selected to assist kids in the Special Olympics to participate. One of my favorite past times is finding parents who have children that happen to have autism and talk to them about my experiences growing up and how my mom helped me develop into a well adjusted adult.
