The reason I became a nanny/caretaker is because I really enjoy getting to teach a child something for the first time or be the one to show them something new like fun art projects, finding a healthy but delicious treat to bake with them, experiencing an unexplored park/beach/walking trail, etc. Their reactions alone make it all worth while not to mention the positive attitudes and gratitude because I took the time to spend doing something they would enjoy. Ultimately being a nanny has been SO emotionally rewarding to know I was able to make sure kids are able to just be kids and get to do kid activities or events when im involved in their lives. I have several years experience in a classroom/daycare setting as well as being a house manager & private nanny for the last 5 years all in all 10+ years experience. I am a mother myself Read more to an awesome 6 year old bundle of energy and joy which has given me a whole different type of experience but experience none the less! I am very punctual, dependable, responsible, overly organized, VERY TRUSTWORTHY woman. A few things I would bring to the household is creating a comfortable stress free environment, building a solid routine filled with positive values and healthy habits, and will always be compassionate and always communicate with the parents. I reassure you too I will always be doing something productive with my time. I try really hard to eliminate all electronics or screen time all together by creating age appropriate, stimulating, entertaining activities or outings. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and REALLY REALLY love nothing more than a simple stroll around the neighborhood block (rain or shine) and/or to a park nearby. Compassion, energetic, patient, Flexible/open minded, TRUSTWORTHY, reliable and great problem solver are a few of my characteristics you would see me display every day.

We were looking for a full time nanny and Kayla seemed very capable when we spoke but her follow up and communication was a little spotty. We eventually gave up and went with someone else. Reliability is key for us and Kayla didnt have that.
