I am a practicing occupational therapist working with children in an outpatient clinic. I offer highly skilled and experience special needs/medically fragile babysitting and respite care. I've been working with children and adults with special needs for 20 years and have been an occupational therapist working with children for 3 years. I specialize in children who have some sensory and behavioral needs, but also have experience working with medically fragile children and have been a nanny for a baby with a g-tube. While I am not providing occupational therapy while babysitting or providing respite, my background gives me extensive experience in caring for children with any kind of special needs. It's been a few years since I babysat, but I am looking for a side hustle to make some extra cash (gotta pay those student loans!) and also provide babysitting/respite to families who might struggle to find adequate care for Read more their child with special needs. I'm happy to watch their siblings, too! I also worked in summer camps for 10 years and love hanging out with kids of all ages.
