Has a car Hello! I am a mom to one 8 year old who is in school full time in Richland, and 3 little dogs. I have been working with children and families for the past 14 years starting as a mothers helper to a full time nanny. I did take some classes for Early Childhood Education in 2015 but ultimately decided to purse my CNA license instead. My love for working with children never ended, as I started my own family and transitioned into becoming a stay at home mom just before 2020. I also trained and worked as a behavioral technician doing in home therapy for autistic children in 2019. Most recently I worked part time at a children’s clothes and toys consignment store in town, and currently I am not working at all until I find the right fit. As it has been some years since I Read more completed my CNA training (2017) I would like to renew my CPR and first aid, and continue my education to further my career. I am very comfortable working with any age, I have cared for newborns, early as 3 days old to elders at 99 years young. I have a great passion for mindfulness, yoga, healthy eating habits, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. My hobbies include reading, dancing, hiking, rock hounding, and playing with my dogs and family. My professional nanny career began at age 15 when I cared for 3 children (ages 3, 8, and 13) full time during the summer, i continued working for this family and multiple others averaging 3-5 babysitting jobs a month during the school year. Once I graduated high school I began working full time at a daycare center and preschool, a unique experience as it was in home, completely gluten free, and organic home! After one year there my family moved, so I was in Yakima, I worked at the tennis club, continued babysitting/nannying, and before becoming a CNA I was a lead childcare and respite care for mothers in recovery. I moved frequently growing up, but my wife and I plan to grow roots here in Tri Cities.( LGBTQ+ community member! 🌈) so I would love to find families that I can learn and grow with! 🌱
