Hello! I am a recent graduate of the Ohio State University, having just received a MA in Speech-Language Pathology. I am looking for a position as an occasional/as-needed babysitter for the next 2-3 months before starting a speech pathologist position full time, or weekend/evening babysitting that could be more long-term. I have nine years of experience baby-sitting children ages 3 months to 13 years, and have cared for up to four children at a time. More recently, I have been a part-time baby sitter for an infant, as well as an au-pair for infant and toddler siblings. In addition to child care experience, I have experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with children with language disorders, hearing impairment, autism, and other special needs. As a childcare provider, I assume responsibility for the child's safety and well-being, and strive to provide a fun and language-rich environment for them while they are Read more in my care. I enjoy spending time playing outside and doing creative activities such as cooking/baking and arts/crafts with the kids I baby-sit. I try to avoid television and video games in favor of more interactive activities. I can provide references upon request.
