Hi my name is Connie and I love taking care of babies! I'm a mom of 2 adult guys now, but also worked with infants in a daycare on an on call basis, and absolutely loved it! Although I also was a teacher's assistant/floater at Serendipity Preschool Daycare from toddler's to PreK and also worked in the afterschool kids program, on occasion I was on call to work with the babies in the infant room,( from 2010 to 2016.) During that time I also received my 20hr. Basic Stars Training certificate which covers all developmental stages of life from birth through middle school. Although its been a while, I've always loved taking care of babies. I love to talk to them, read baby picture books out loud to them, I don't mind changing diapers, holding them close to my chest and rocking them, walking around with them and singing to Read more them while I cradle them close and let them see the world around them. When the weather's good, warmer, cloudy on sunny and not rainy days ( with your permission) I'd love to wrap your baby nice and snuggly, and take your tiny one for a walk in the stroller. Besides working in daycare, my experience also includes working in Tumwater, Olympia and The North Thurston School Districts, mainly with special needs students, Pre-K through grade school and also in the middle schools. Then, in 2022 during the Covid19 epidemic, I was privileged to work as a nanny/individual provider for a special needs 6 year old boy with several developmental challenges.(2020 to Spring of 2021) I would consider myself a fun loving, kind, compassionate, easy going person and yet willing to follow whatever instructions you need me to, to meet your time schedule and whatever you know your baby needs. It would be a joy to take care of your precious sweet baby so you can take care of household chores, take a break to eat, and whatever else I can do to lighten your load so that you can take care of your own needs. I don't drive, because of a spatial disability from childhood, but my husband can easily drive me to your house every morning and I know my way around most of Thurston County. As long as there is a bus stop within 2 or 3 miles or less from your house, I am able to bring myself back home. Thank you so much for your consideration. (references upon request).
