My name is Shelby and I am 22 years old. I started babysitting at 12 years old and I started working as a caregiver for mentally and physically disabled adults when I was 18 years old. I became a caregiver because helping others makes me feel the best on the inside. Putting a smile on someone's face or being able to positively impact their day is important to me. The healthcare field and related work is always very rewarding and prepares me for my future in many different ways. I have taken a child development class as well as CPR/First Aid trainings.
