Hi, My name is Rosa; I am a senior at WGU with a degree in Education and Special Education. I show and ride horses year-round. I have had prior experience with kids and teach kids of all ages how to ride—even adults. I also work with those who have disabilities, even the most debilitating; horses are healing. I previously worked for a non-profit that focused on getting disabled individuals out of their houses and into the world to enjoy it like non-disabled individuals. We find their routes on the buses, teach them how and help land them a fantastic job that is rewarding and empowering to the individual in need. I worked with JR-K up to women/men in their 80's I also taught middle school girls soccer, where I focused on the athlete doing their best with their current abilities, that practice is progress which leads to perfection. Most of Read more all, hold yourself and your teammates accountable on and off the field. Many rose to the expectations, and some had a learning curve; I don't yell or shout at the kids; I let them fumble and show them how to recover and create their ways. Being a Diver instead of a Dipper means taking the initiative, even if you're the first to do so in the crowd. I am good with kids due to being around them at my barn and horse shows. It would be a pleasure to take care of your children!
