Hi! My name is Charlise, I’m 21 years old and I live on Mercer Island. I’ve babysat for about a year and a half for my family friend. Her kids were 1 and 8 and I juggled schoolwork, bottles, lunch time and playing games with the kids! It has been one or two years since I watched her kids. However, since then I had 3-5 months of experience taking care of a disabled friend of mine who unfortunately requires a lot of care. With that I can say that I strengthened my ability to put others first and be quick on my feet. I’m really great at handling stressful situations while staying calm and positive! Aside from my babysitting experience, I love kids. I have tons of cousins and always grew up around kids. I played a lot of travel sports growing up and seemed to be the one taking Read more care of everyone’s siblings during our off time. I have always loved kids and cannot wait to have children of my own, which is definitely my drive to make sure children have a positive and enlightening experience around me :) I am going to soon renew my CPR and first aid certifications! I was a dental assistant for a little over a year and got my certifications when I was hired, but they just recently expired. I plan to at least educate myself online before babysitting again just to be safe!
