Hello! It's nice to meet you. I am a healthcare professional currently looking for part-time work for income while awaiting placement with a more permanent position. I have seen how difficult it has been for young parents in my family to find quality child care, and that led me to make an account here and see if I can help out our community a bit while making ends meet. While I don't have a lot of paid childcare experience, I am the oldest of my branch of the family tree and have been responsible for taking care of younger members of my family and younger kids in our neighborhood growing up. And although I'm explicitly not providing medical care in this work, I have experience providing healthcare to children and teens of all ages, am able to recognize medical emergencies, and have been certified in life support for all ages Read more as well. I have education in child development and training in age-appropriate parenting. I also know how important having a consistent standard for caregiver/parent and child behavior is for stability, and I prioritize establishing your standards so that your wishes are done when you are unable to do so.
