Originally from Brazil, I grew up in Rio de Janeiro and lived for almost 6 years in Sao Paulo. I moved to the U.S. in 2015 and lived in New York City and New Jersey before moving to Washington State three years ago. I currently live in Issaquah with my two beautiful daughters, Julia (12) and Carolina (15), my husband and my husband’s son Jordan (10). I have over 20 years of experience teaching preschool and elementary school. I received a Bachelor’s of Education and have extensive professional development and college education in pedagogy, special education and educational administration. After graduation, I taught elementary school in Brazil and simultaneously coached and trained other teachers in their professional development center called “The Knowledge Center.” I worked at Launch Madrona as the Program Specialist before becoming the Program Director. From May to July 2019, I worked as the Program Director at Launch Read more Madrona and Launch Beacon Hill International Elementary School in Seattle, coordinating over 20 teachers, 2 cooks and serving a community with over 150 families. Recently, I worked as a Director in a private school in Issaquah called Synergy Learning Academy providing the owner and Executive Director support with the hiring process. In my free time, I teach Portuguese, love reading, cooking and going to the movies with my daughters. I used to sing in choirs, in Brazil and New Jersey, play some musical instruments, and enjoy hiking, running and traveling with my husband. I'm looking for a new job opportunity that I can use my teaching experience.
