My family worked with only Sage for almost 3 months. She was great with the girls and my daughter loved her but she was unreliable almost weekly. Accountability is huge for us and when we tried to address the issues to work it out with her, she would become defensive and passively threaten to not work with us anymore if we had a "problem". I asked Sage to travel with us out of town with the girls and worked out compensation a month prior to leaving which Sage agreed to. The day before we left she told me she wanted more money because of the anxiety she had. I felt disrespected and backed in a corner. (I had someone else help us) Even after all of that we tried to accommodate her but eventually Sage did not show up for her shift and did not call/text me back for 3 days saying she would not be able to work with us anymore because of schooling. I'd like to say we were thrown off but there were red flags along the way. Sage is a nice girl and great with kids but did not work out with us long term.
