I am a military spouse who has a passion for helping kids grow and develop into their best versions of themselves. No matter how young, it’s never too early to start embedding success into your child’s life. I am a loving, caring, patient, and engaging caregiver. When I was a young teenager I started to babysit the neighborhood kids and now they are all grown up and some have even graduated from high school. I always knew I wanted to be involved in helping people be successful and that is when I started caring for elders as an LNA. I was an LNA for about eight years, but I always found myself looking after children or interacting with them whenever I got a chance. I grew up in a home where my Mother showed me and anyone who walked her way what true care and compassion is. I have learned Read more a lot of what I know from my Mom and my experience as an LNA. Patients is one of the biggest aspects that I thrive on when caring for anyone. I love helping people and seeing them succeed in any way possible. I used to help the neighborhood kids with activities such as homework and sports and I got to see them grow every day. I used to help a 90 year old lady do exercises and get stronger from a fall. She was lifting three pound weights with ease within a few months. When I was in graduate school I took care of a seven-month old girl who is now almost 3!, but watching her grow and develop was one of the greatest blessings I could have ever asked for. The best part is, her Mom and Dad still send me videos of her and she’s so big now! She’s also a big sister and is the best helper. A lot of my friends and family members have children from newborn to toddlers and I always get excited to go visit, spend time with them and see how much they have grown. It makes me excited to be a mother one day. But my goal in life is that no matter who, where, or what I am doing, if I can help anyone I will be there.
