Hello! I have been taking care of children of children in one way or another since the 80's. I babysat on and off from the age of 12 and worked as a nanny in Boston after graduating from high school. After getting my BA in Law and Justice, I worked as a counselor for Juvenile Rehabilitation with pre-teens to young adults who had a variety of behavioral and mental health issues. In addition I was a volunteer at juvenile court providing tutoring for teens. I am currently employed by the Department of Corrections for a program that allows parents to get out of prison early to be at home with their children while under intensive supervision. I work with parents to gain skills to be a positive person in their child's life in hopes that the child will not follow in their parent's footsteps. I am proficient in DBT and Read more Functional Family Therapy and love working with kids of all ages, with and without special needs. I enjoy doing art projects with toddlers 2 and up and baking all kinds of treats with 5 and up. I love being in nature with kids, walking, exploring, or playing at the park. I adore animals, the more the better. I am very serious about safety and am always aware of my surroundings and quick thinking in dangerous situations. You can go out for a fun night without having to worry about your child and they will be having a fun night as well!
