Hello! My name is Lindsey, and I have been nannying for about 7 years now. I am 25 years old. I just recently moved home from New York in October, after playing college soccer there and living there for 6 years. I have nannied for about 6+ different families over the years, and have nannied all my life. Most of my experience is with new borns - 5 years of age, babies are my passion! :) *Due to covid, I currently have a completely open schedule, have been quarantined, and can start as soon as you’d like me too. * * Also, I have been aware of the “1 star review” on my page, I had a seizure and was in the hospital so I couldn’t make it to the “in-person interview”, I’ve nannied for 7 years with 7+ references and that is completely a false representation of who I Read more am... I take my job very seriously, as nannying is my biggest passion and livelihood. simply had a medical emergency and couldn’t make it so thats pretty unfair and disappointing but hey, we move on :) * I have experience with almost any type of emergency situation, one of the families I nannied for in New York which I was with for 4 years had a sort've special case, when I started had a baby who was sick with a cancerous brain tumor. While living there, I cared for her and helped in every way from taking her to chemo treatments, to therapy, to school, to dealing with emergency blue spells, and many other things that come along with the territory! I had been with this family for a few years, when I started she had two girls one was 6 months and other was 2 and a half years old at start. She went through a pregnancy while I was with them, and had a third that I saw and cared for from day 1 of birth. They now are 4, 6, and 16 months. The oldest had cancer, a brain tumor, so I have lots of experience medically, would take her to chemo, learned to feed through G tube, etc. This is just one family I cared for, but something I like to highlight because of the specialized care. I was with this family for 4 years, and was a big reason it was such a challenge for me to leave New York and come home but it was finally time. I've nannied for one time needed care, to full time with a family for years. Most of my resume consists of about a 6 months-year of time per family, and I have amazing relationships with every family I have ever nannied for that I can provide contact information if needed.
