I have recently become a volunteer doula (emotional support person for people in labor) at the UVM Medical Center and have fallen in love with this role. I am eager to gain more experience helping out with young families who have children younger than age 2, ideally in the postpartum period. I love being active outside in nature, cooking, baking and playing games. I am interested in providing any kind of extra support that an extra pair of hands can provide such as cleaning , food prep, laundry, dishes, etc. as well as childcare, whatever is needed day to day. I love learning from children and the ways in which they interact with life, with such pure curiosity and wonder. I am flexible and open to part-time or full-time depending on need and scheduling.
