I’ve always loved children, and every part of my life has consistently included childcare. Now, my children are fully grown, and I’m looking for a new source of income, so I’m hoping this will be a perfect fit. I want to be able to help some parents balance their lives and perhaps eventually develop a consistent childcare schedule. My experience: I babysat as a teenager for several years for various families. After my three children (two boys, one girl) entered their teenage years, I was a teacher/sub/personal assistant in the Chesapeake school system for over 3 years. I left due to Covid, then I spent the next 3 years caring for my ailing mother. Now my schedule is completely open. I have dogs and am very comfortable with them in the house.
