I've had several years of experience working with, teaching, and babysitting children from 5 to 15 years old. I grew up in a large family and was always eager to babysit my siblings and other young kids in my neighborhood. Little did I know that would blossom into a lifelong passion of mine! Once I graduated high school, I began working in the environmental education field, fostering and developing connections with kids and the outdoors (I like to think of myself as the 'bridge' connecting children to nature!) I have extensive experience with taking care of children, ensuring their safety as the utmost priority, and providing safe and fun environments for exploration. Although I value empowering children's curiosity and energy, I understand the fundamental importance of setting boundaries around their safety first. I consider myself a very empathetic, understanding, respectful, and aware individual. I highly value trying to understand people's Read more emotions and responding to their feelings in a respective and responsible way -- especially when it comes to children. In addition, I am a very adventurous person: I love hiking, swimming, and plant identification (a topic I love to teach children)! If this is something that is important to you and/or your children, I am definitely the right gal for the job :) I also have experience with pet care and household upkeep/chores, so if that is something you need help with I am open to that as well.
