Hi! My name is Marie and I am a VCU honors student studying International Relations. I'm a museum-loving, Disney-movie-watching, Lego-building extraordinaire. I've worked as a Girl Scout camp counselor for the past six years. Outside of camp, I am also a Girl Scout and Scouts BSA (Boy Scout) leader. I love being active outside: I currently work for VCU's Outdoor Adventure Program. However, I also love a good day inside at home baking and reading. I hold an American Heart Association Professional CPR & AED certification for adult, child, and infant CPR. Through my job, I do CPR refresher courses every six months. I am also a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR). WFR is the recognized industry standard for high-level wilderness medical training for people who work as backcountry trip leaders, camp counselors, mountain guides, river guides, and ski patrollers. I'm hoping I never have to use my training, but Read more I am well prepared to address any first-aid incidents!
